Dr. Quinlan is a nationally certified Legal Nurse Consultant who has developed a practice specializing in the defensive of individual licensed practitioners, healthcare agencies and healthcare organizations in collaboration with Law Firms in Greater New York, Nassau, Westchester, Albany County and eastern New Jersey. She also consults with healthcare organizations to assist them in reducing patient/resident risk and training staff in the legal aspects of their documentation & care.
Over her 33 years as a nurse, Dr. Quinlan has held numerous senior leadership position in administration and education in emergency services, acute care, and long term facilities in the Greater New York area and surrounding suburbs. She is fully versed in acute care and long term care for the New York State Department of Health Standards, CMS Code of Federal Regulations and Joint Commission Standards. She is also nationally certified in Critical Care Nursing, Emergency Nursing, and Staff Development.
